The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is collecting personal information on this form for the purposes of coordinating the Visual Arts (VAR) practical examination submission and return of portfolios. The collection of your personal information enables the Authority to identity and communicate with you regarding your student/s’ VAR practical examination portfolio submission and collection.

Your personal information will be disclosed to the Authority’s authorised personnel for the purpose of administering the VAR practical examination marking process.

If the Authority wishes to disclose your personal information for purposes other than those stated, your consent will be sought unless the disclosure is permitted under or by law.

The collection of this personal information is authorised under the provisions of, but is not limited to, the Public Sector Management Act 1994 (WA), the Working with Children (Screening) Act 2004 (WA), the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA), the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA), the Taxation Administration Act 1953 (Cth) and the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992 (Cth).

If you choose not to provide the requested personal information, the Authority will not be able to coordinate and administer the marking of your students VAR practical examinations.
