Schools participating in Brightpath must be registered with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority).

Schools not currently registered for the Brightpath program can register throughout 2026 by emailing brightpath@scsa.wa.edu.au with the:

• name of school, school address and telephone number
• school code
• name and email address of principal
• name and email address of Brightpath contact.

If a school decides to discontinue this program, the school should notify the Authority by emailing brightpath@scsa.wa.edu.au.

Brightpath data transfers occur at regular intervals throughout the year. This allows all schools to update their Brightpath student and teacher information through the Student Information Records System (SIRS).

Data transfer dates to Brightpath in 2026 are:

• Term 1 – Friday, 13 February, 6 March and 27 March
• Term 2 – Friday, 8 May, 29 May and 19 June
• Term 3 – Friday, 31 July, 21 August and 11 September
• Term 4 – Friday, 23 October, 13 November and 4 December.

The last date for uploading registration and demographic information for students (via SRGDG file) and teachers (via THREG file) is the day prior to the listed transfer date. These dates are available in the 2026 Activities Schedule at https://www.scsa.wa.edu.au/publications/activities-schedule.
