The marks allocated to each General and Foundation externally set task (EST) for 2026 and course specific requirements, where applicable, are now available. The 2026 Externally Set Tasks total marks and the 2026 Externally Set Tasks course specific requirements documents are available on the School Curriculum and Standards Authority website at https://senior-secondary.scsa.wa.edu.au/assessment/externally-set-tasks.

Note: the marks allocated to each EST can change, as can the structure of questions. Teachers should refer to the EST design brief contained in each course syllabus for additional information regarding the format and content of ESTs.
