Meeting WACE Requirements 2019 Seminars

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is providing learning area specific seminars during Term 1 to assist schools in meeting the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) requirements in 2019.

Schools are reminded they have until Thursday 28 March 2019 to verify and confirm the achievement data submitted to the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) for students in years other than Year 12


Change to the application of U status for non-completion of a course

Schools are advised that changes have been made in the 2019 WACE Manual related to the application by schools of the U status.


Special examination arrangements assessors 2019 – expressions of interest

School Psychologists and school personnel with experience in working with ATAR candidates with disabilities at senior secondary level

Teachers are advised that the School Curriculum and Standards Authority provides seminars during Term 1 to assist senior secondary teachers who are delivering Year 12 ATAR courses that require their school to take part in the small group moderation process in 2019.
