Consultation advice through inter-governmental committees
Western Australia is represented on national government committees for education that also provide a forum for discussion and feedback to ACARA.
These are the:
- Australian Education, Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs Senior Officials Committee (AEEYSOC)
- Standing Council School Education and Early Childhood (SCSEEC). The Standing Council, which met in Perth on 20 April, replaces the Ministerial Council for Education Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs (MCEECDYA).
- K-12 Curriculum Reference Group (ACARA) which also has a representative from Western Australia.
